I just made this very basic worksheet for giving directions, as if you were in a taxi directing the driver. The instructions are in Japanese. It's aimed at Japanese elementary students with very low English ability. It includes capital letter tracing, and writing practice. The idea is to play a game that uses the vocabulary prior to doing the w/sheet. It may be of some use to you. P.S. You'll need a tracing font installed in your word processor to view the traceable font. Alternatively, when I get home, I'll scan it and upload it as a separate, JPEG worksheet.

The present downloadable printable is a great resource for elementary school at Beginner (pre-A1) level. It is useful for honing your pupils' Speaking and Writing skills. It focuses on the vocabulary topic of Giving Directions. The answers are provided, too.

I taught English in Japan for eight, hard years. It was a great experience, but then I basically burnt out and moved back to Australia. Still have a lot more material to upload but haven't got around to it yet.
