COLLECTIVE NOUNS

the goal is to present the vocabulary of family members and exercise at the end. There's a family tree, 's possession, riddle to challenge students. Some of the exercises at the end are links to quizzlet.

Family Members

This is a PPTX picture general knowledge quiz for 5 - 8 year olds. It contains 20 multiple choice questions with pictures covering animals, colours, numbers, food and prepositions. The students observe the pictures while the teacher reads the questions. Students can either mark (draw the sign)answers on an answer sheet, or say the answer in teams. The options are marked with letters OXL so that it would be easier for the little ones to write them down (if asked to).

I created this PowerPoint for my younger students. I wanted to make learning to read fun and engaging. I wanted to use three-letter words that are simpler to remember and easier to spell.

This is a fun preschool activity for teaching and revising body parts. Children's task is to recognize and call out a missing body part. The activity is also useful for colours revision. The teacher asks: "Who is it? Is it a boy or a girl? What color is he/she? What body part is missing?"
