This is a grammar lesson which follows P-P-P steps. The grammar rules are clearly explained. Some pictures together are also inserted so that students can create appropriate sentences with given cues using the target structures. At the end, I also insert a link to an online flash game. Hope you have fun with this!

Expressing similarities and contrast using tags (so do I. / neither do I, I do! / I don't!) Pupils must react to the pictures and the symbols and give the correct answer

The PowerPoint presentation is made to drill the structures So/Neither...I (Me too/neither). It's focused only on present simple, but you can edit it and make it a bit more challenging for students who have a higher level. First, they can see the structures are used. And then they should use them in practice by reacting to the given statements (you can change them, too)

Use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. Understand a wide range of demanding, longer texts. Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
