That is the power point presentation made in the form of the quiz about different countries. It consists of interesting facts about the countries of the world. The task of the students is to guess whether the statements are true or false.

Country Quiz

I create these simple board games when I want to do revision with my students. I teach small classes and I need only one copy but if you teach larger classes you can divide the student into groups of four or six students. 

You can make up your own rules if you like, this is how I do it.

Students sit in a circle, the board game is in the center of the desk. The students use a die to move from one square to the next. In order to move the students need to say something for each square. When there is a happy smiley they should use: I like...(and whatever is on the picture), when there is a question mark - Do you like...?, with the sad smiley they should use - I don't like...

If they say the sentence right they continue, if they make a mistake they should go back to the start and start over. The student that gets to the finish first is the winner. I usually use stickers as awards for the winners.

An activity to practice forming questions and negative responses.  There are 2 parts to the activity.  The first is done with the class as a whole (and a script is provided.)  This is followed with a "Your Turn" component where the students work in pairs to create their own scripts.

A PowerPoint to introduce American children's games and the expression "do you want to ..." There is some Korean in the PowerPoint with translations of the basic expressions and literal translations of some of the game names. The instructor should explain the games with the assistance of the pictures/videos and then ask the students if they want to play the game. At the end, some card games are introduced which can actually be played even indoors.
