This ppt can be used for warming up. Students are to give one positive and one negative statement about some things. The presentation is fully editable, you can add your own things for discussion.

Positive and negative statements

This presentation contains a wide range of vocabulary related to sports which are used with the verbs “GO”, “PLAY” and “DO”. Furthermore, it includes different opinion verbs such as “LIKE”, “DISLIKE”, “LOVE” or “HATE”, and the modal verbs “CAN” to express abilities.

There are some games and dialogues so that students can practise the content in a fun way.

Communication lesson. Practice placing an order, replying and interacting with the restaurant staff. Presentation contains prompts Can I have..., Would you like..., and food vocabulary. Works best with some relaxing restaurant jazz music in the background. I hope that your students will like it.

Students have to say what sport is shown in the gif picture on a slide. After they do it, they should answer the questions whether they like the sport and whether they can do it.

What sport is it? 

This is what I use in my lessons for students whose mother tongue is Russian. This is good especially for adults. It is used for explaining how to ask for things and it would be good after showing this ppt to give a handouts to consolidate what's learnt.

An interactive activity - suitable for big groups. Each student is given a card and they're all asked to move around the class and find at least three different people who can do three different things. This will be a chance for the students to practice questions and short answers with can. At the end of the game, students can share their results with the rest of the class, now that they know what their classmates can (or can't) do! 

It can also be used as one-on-one activity, even if it'd probably end up being a little boring - with two/three students asking and answering questions back and forth.

The activity may be done as a whole class, asking students the questions or they can work in pairs and ask them to each other. In my class, students threw dices and the number given on the die would be the number of questions they would answer.
