The students will practice changing present simple active voice affirmative sentences into the passive voice. They will be shown the active voice sentence first and then they must change into the passive voice. I used this PPT for grade 6 ESL students.

How can I improve my English pronunciation

Students are challenged to come up with simple one clause answers to explain why they enjoy doing things. They are given a number of examples before the assessment portion.

Students in teams compete to be the first to create a correct question using the present progressive tense assisted by the QuASM formula. Cut up word cards and distribute equally sized packs to each team.

Present Progressive Game

68 slides in which a simple statement is made in the present or past tense and then a student is challenged to ask a question based on it. This means there are 34 statements/questions. Students can be challenged to guess one after the other and you can run this activity two times in a row and two or three times a week until asking these types of questions comes naturally. You can also challenge each student to come in with 5 statements and questions and a group of students can make a ppt of many of these statements and questions and you can have a competition.

Asian students really seem to hate sticking their tongues out of their mouths to properly make the "th" sound.
