A simple presentation to show your students the concept of using the gerund form of verbs after the verbs like/love/hate/enjoy.



Teach your students how they can say about their likes and dislikes. Then make them share their feelings towards the activities on the slides. 

Like + ing

The ppt presentation aims at drilling the gerund structure after like/love, etc and practising some hobby words.



Students look at the symbols of the verbs like/love/don't like/hate on each slide and at the picture given. Then they say a sentence which should include a verb and a hobby they think is shown in the picture. They should use the gerund form of the activity they're talking about.

Use this PPT to make your students speak about different topics, using expressions with gerunds. After speaking in groups, they could write a description using the same expressions.

Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well
