There are six words that are hidden in every picture. The Ss have to find it. It can be played by the elementary, beginner, intermediate, and advanced class. The main focus is NOUN. The words in every picture have related to each others.

MY ILLUSTRATED DIARY

The slide presentation features a family tree with labels (names of people). Then the vocabulary for relationships are given in the end. This is a good starter for discussions about family relationships.

This is a very helpful powerpoint presentation about some of the countries in Asia with their flags and national costumes. It's good for both beginners and internediate to give a fuller view of the Asian people.

I use this matching game powerpoint for different topics. It`s great to practice general or specific vocabulary. How it works: Two teams play. One team must pick 2 numbers. Teacher opens both slides. If they (voacab + pic) don`t match, teacher must close both slides. If they do match, leave 2 slides open. The idea is that the students must remember where the vocab and pics are hidden. Make sure they don`t cheat and  write down the numbers during the game. Once a team picks 2 matching slides, have them make an additional sentence with that word for extra points. You can use this template for any topic. Just tweak it accordingly. Oh, and the teacher can also set a specific dialog to follow (see the dialog slide) The students really enjoy this activity. This specific one is about "jobs", but you can change it to any topic. Have fun!  

Matching Game 

This is a quiz game about the Chinese zociac where students guess the zodiac animal based on its shadow. It's a fun way to reinforce vocabulary while subtly introducing new words. Of course, you can adapt it to suit your own needs, though (i.e. make it more difficult, make it easier, etc.). Anyway, feel free to change it however you wish.
