This is an extension activitiy designed to be an open-ended task completed individually, in pairs or small groups.  Students had read and seen pictures of different types of schools around the world.  Now they can design their own school integrating concepts studied in Science: reusable / non resuable resources, sustainability, recycling.  After identifying key elements school would include, students designed a weekly schedule integrating math skills and then created maps/drew building plans for their school.
