Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

These worksheets are  for pupils at the beginner stage. I have  taught my students the verbs ''  like-love-dislike and hate'' with gerunds. So , I prepared these worksheet for them . I think it will be useful in your class.

LIKE + VERB ing

The focus is on reviewing adjective + preposition and verb + preposition and gerund form.  Students must remember the preposition that belongs with a particular adjective or verb and to change the verb in brackets to gerund form.

Students can either fill in the blank of a sentence or question, then answer the question.

Good at + gerunds

Some simple tasks to practise 'like' and other verbs which require the gerund structure after them.



Students have to fill in the gaps with the verbs after they look at the symbols. Then they write how they feel about doing this or that thing. And after that, they should write the missing information about their friend.

What do you like doing

A vocabulary worksheet where the students have to match the pictures and the correct activity. I use it with I love/like/hate + V-ING.  Then you can let them remember the most of it and play mime or pictionary.
