I'm Going To - BE GOING TO - Plans in the Future

The objective of this ESL printable worksheet is to learn how and when to use the BE GOING TO + infinitive' construction for predictions when you have some signs or clues about what is going to happen. It's a grammar worksheet. Students have to make sentences based on the visual and vocabulary prompts but they can also 'play' with them. Eg: Is Brian going to watch a film? No, Brian isn'r going to watch a film, he is going to learn to drive.

Future Intentions

The lesson plan is created at the intermediate level of English. The reading comprehension and vocabulary exercises are designed to challenge students with some prior knowledge of English and to help them develop their skills in reading and understanding more complex texts. The grammar exercises focus on the future tense, typically taught at an intermediate level. However, the lesson plan can be adapted or modified to suit the needs and abilities of students at different levels.

The future: reading comprehension and future tense

This is a picture description activity. Students look at two pictures and say which picture/pictures the statements are describing. Then, they complete two short passages with the prepositions of place.

Prepositions - In the bedroom
