These are some flash cards that can be used for speaking exercises on the present continuous tense. You can also use them with the past continuous.They are focused on daily routine activities.

PRESENT CONTINUOUS FLASH CARDS

A set of speaking cards to practice/revise the different future forms (will, to be going to, Present Continuous). Students work in groups/pairs, pick the card on top and answer the questions. Follow-up questions can be added for more advanced level students or by the teacher during the feedback.Works best (I think) with secondary school kids. Have fun:)

You can use flash cards to play little game about present continuous.  



For example, separate students into teams and ask volunteer to act what is said in the card. The winner is a team who answer or guess the most correct answers.

I use this cards with nurse anesthetists (CRNA). In groups of four. Two students pick a card and mime the action together while the other have to find what they are doing using the present continuous.

A memory game for elementary students. Print out the material and cut it on the lines. The students have to match a picture with a description. If you play with them, I recommend you lose by 1 point. :)

Produce clear, well-structured, detailed text on complex subjects, using linking phrases (=words that connect ideas between sentences). Main grammar points to know: inversion, mixed conditionals, modals in the past, all passive forms, phrasal verbs (all patterns), wish/if only for regrets

Learners who can smoothly communicate in every walk of life, read long texts and write well

Learners taking the C2 Proficient exam should be able to:<ul><li>Understand almost everything read or heard with ease.</li><li>Summarize information from a variety of sources into a coherent presentation.</li><li>Express themselves using precise meaning in complex scenarios.</li><li>Can express him/herself spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning even in the most complex situations</li></ul>
