This is a simple worksheet to practise this tense, especially designed for weaker students. First student have to find the ing-form of the verbs needed. Then they complete the sentences and match them with the pictures. This worksheet is fully editable, so feel free to make any changes to it.

This ESL word search is meant to give students practice with changing verbs into the present continuous. This includes some short vowel verbs like hop and swim and some verbs that end in 'e' like hope and write. 



I have used this for different levels. Since the words are in the word search even lower level learners can catch onto how to do 'ing' rather well.

it is a worksheet aiming at teaching ppls the use of the present progressive tense . the first task is a wordsearch game it is paving the way to the learners to understand the voc will be used in the main stage, reading, as for the second task it is a reading passage describing a poster , the last 2 tasks are meant to make ppls produce and use the newly acquired structure by themselves

The present progressive tense

In the first part (Grammar Part) students read the questions (in the Present Continuous Tense), look at the pictures of Santa and answer them giving full answers. In the second part students revise basic Christmas vocabulary doing a wordsearch puzzle.
