  • ESL Worksheet of the day

Here it´s the second part of the opposites puzzle. There´re 20 more of them. Print on thick paper, laminate and cut. Perfect activity for fast finishers or to make pairs :)
  • ESL Powerpoint of the day

This is a PowerPoint to introduce beginner SS to the idea of adverbs of frequency (always, sometimes and never)
It also includes a speaking pair work activity.
  • ESL Teaching tip of the day

This is an icebreaker I often use when a new student has joined one of my adult classes. Its purpose is to have a few laughs, break through the nervousness of a first lesson and for the students to get to know one another better.

First the teacher demonstrates, writing down three things about himself/herself. Two things are true and one is a lie. Have the students guess which one is the lie. Then have your students all write down three things about themselves and everyone tries to guess the lie.
